Community

This page recognizes EYSC's commitment to our community.  As a Club, EYSC is built on the foundation of volunteerism.  EYSC encourages all players, teams, coaches, parents, and referees to give back and volunteer their time and energy towards assisting those less fortunate and improving our community as a whole.  Whether an older player volunteers at a Player Development Training session, or a team takes on a large yearlong project we want to recognize those that go the extra mile to benefit someone else

Is your team doing something to better our community?  Please contact nperjanik@eysc.com and we will post your information.

2011 EYSC Select International Project
(February 2011)

EYSC volunteers Joey and Laura Perjanik collected used soccer shoes and balls from EYSC players at the 2011 Select tryouts. With significant donations from the Granite Bay High School Coaching staff, local players, and the EYSC's Avalanche boys team, the soccer gear is being loaded on 2 buses heading for a town in need.  In parts of Mexico, getting to school can be hard for many. To help out, the Rotary Club of Roseville acquired 2 school buses from the City of Roseville for $1.  With the buses already heading down south, Joey and Laura figured the free transportation would put the gear in good hands (or in soccer speak, on good feet).
